For our swimwear project we had to design a capsule collection for a pre-existing brand and then create either a swimsuit/bikini and a coverup. I was inspired by natural forms and I created a marbled print reversible bikini with high waisted bottoms and a mesh long sleeve maxi dress. (Garment images to come soon)

Print development. I scanned in several pages from my sketchbook where I had created marbled patterns using shaving foam and drawing ink in various colours. I then mirrored and multiplied these using photoshop and also editied the colours slightly. I chose my favourite ( the second print) and got it printed on to PFP white swimwear fabric, ready for my final garments to created from it.
