ed by M.c. Escher.

A 360 x 60 cm 3D project on the wall, 216 open cubes cut and folded to make the model. Placed inside, are black and white letters in black and white boxes, respectively, creating an illusion of presence of the letters, urging the viewer to approach and look to spell out the sentence, by Escher:
"Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling?"

Preparation of the boxes, cut-outs using laser cutter.
Gluing the white and black boxes.
Mounting the open boxes on the wall, 360 x 60 cm.
The typographic platform with Helvetica letters spelling out "Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling."
"are you"  "can't also", in Helvetica letters. White letters in white boxes and black letters in black boxes to create visual illusion.
Close up on the boxes spelling "are."
An image capturing the whole platform.
