I made and used a negative mold to sculpt the container on. I put on a 4" stockinette, cut and sewed it closed on top of the convexity of the mold. Then, I wrapped it with eight alternating layers of cotton medical cast padding and spray adhesive. Then I constructed three layers of paper mache around the padding, then pasted one layer of cat litter rolls made from recycled newspaper on. Next, I added 3 more layers of paper mache, streched, folded, and glued the stockinet back, away from the hole. Next, I added 6 more layers, then sanded it.
