For a long time, I was thinking why people become more and more eager to understand each other. I was wondering, why do we not take an effort to understand the other person step by step in an intimate way.
I found a non-functional, a non-used robot at home which has encouraged me to think about the moments of error.
In this work the act of commonness is very important. I emphasize it as a reason for people becoming inert to each other.
The daily routine simplifies our approach to everything. Only in the case of collapsing routine, the opportunity to look at the mechanism emerges and eliminates chances for the existential questions to originate. The simple idea of Gadamer is significant here - "misunderstanding arises spontaneously, and understanding must be searched and wanted. Thus, to understand we need to work, not act inertial. I believe that one should not simplify the communication and cognition. A popular and slightly ironic term – improvement – is necessary here. Mechanisms and intelligent bodies will not solve anything ultimately. Especially when the smart technological area where there is much talk about the error moment.
I create a character which is quite hopeless despite the fact we call it smart. Samples raise the paradox of the moment and also the error moment, which grows into a social problem that affects a person.
Also, it should be noted that the character's language in this film adds him more despair. The instruction is an interesting phenomenon. It is a set of rules, which we usually do not read, but when we do, we realize how many inconsistencies prevail and how many errors there are.
