How To Create Easily Monsters & Mythological Creatures

In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to effortlessly create vegetal or mineral faces of mythological beings. This process bears resemblance to the renowned Rorschach test employed by psychologists to evaluate personality traits and emotional functioning. By folding an inkblot in half, a symmetrical image is formed, which can be interpreted in various ways, often revealing hidden human figures, animal heads, or butterflies. This visual effect is possible due to our innate tendency to perceive faces in symmetrical patterns, known as "pareidolia." You can utilize any image editing software such as Photoshop, Pixia, or Coreldraw to create your own images.

Let's dive into the tutorial with these four simple steps:

Begin by capturing an image of a tree trunk...
2. Next, crop the most captivating section of your photograph.
3. Duplicate it and mirror it.
4. Merge the two images together, aligning the edges perfectly to achieve a seamless composition (no retouching required!). And there you have it! What does the resulting image represent to you? Is it a skull, a dog, or perhaps a mythological creature?
Some samples
Devil’s face?
An Orc?
You can also apply the same process to minerals and create astonishing faces. How about crafting a monstrous skull?
A creature of the night?
A zombie?
A mummy?
An alien?
A Golem?
A stone totem?
