Architectural Fundamentals I

AREA 52
Archaeological Museum/Dig Site
The entire design for AREA 52 came from one of five entrance conditions as assigned for a repetitive sequence of spaces.
After the basic shape was extruded from the spatial exercise, the angularity and fragility began showing through.
When the scale became apparent, it was time to alter the materiality of the project, and give it realistic features.
With everything coming together into a realistic design, a base needed to be considered. How would this architecture create a base?
 And Area 52 was created.
