The Brief

Illustrate a significant event, or series of events, from the history of XL Recordings. Celebrate the artist and highlight their seminal moment(s) in a way that engages and communicates to your audience.

Solution

To celebrate the history of XL Recordings I decided to design an infographic showcasing some of the artists signed to XL on an album tour around the world. The size of each circle represents how many shows were played in each city therefore you can imagine cities like London and New York for example the circle would be quite large. Each colour represents an artist and their album, the colour is related to the artwork of the chosen album. I researched all tour dates and designed three infographic maps, these being an United Kingdom map, Europe map, U.S. and Canada map.
