Fibonacci + A-ha
Driving home, I was listening to the radio and the classic song 'Take on me' by A-ha came on. Of course, I was singing along like anybody would, trying to reach those very un-natural high notes he reaches. And, like any good creative, I thought to myself: "What would this look like in a type poster?" I had the idea of the words getting bigger and bigger as his notes do, and that led me to the Fibonacci Sequence. It's a match made in mathematical / 80's / typographic heaven (and yes, I do believe such place exists.)
