LAGUNA SECA TOPOGRAPHIC TRACK MINIATURES
Pirelli commissioned 3D-Racetracks to create special track miniatures commemorating their new Diablo Rosso III motorcycle tire.
Pirelli has been the sole tire supplier of all the classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship for over 10 years. The knowledge and experience from racing at the top level has been distilled into the third incarnation of the venerable Diablo Rosso.
It’s only fitting that a special track from the World Superbike Championship be used to commemorate this tire.
Which track?
The one and only Laguna Seca.
3D-Racetracks specializes in making accurate topographic racetrack miniatures.
Two special Laguna Seca track miniatures were specially designed for Pirelli and manufactured using the latest 3D printing technologies.
The first miniature was created in full color and shows the Pirelli and Diablo Rosso III logos prominently on a band inside the track.
The second miniature was created in bronze infused steel which was 3D printed by ExOne. The logos are extruded from the interior band.
