Armata is a low contrast sans serif text face. In Armata we find a mixture of a the familiar shapes and an aesthetic steadiness and strength with a small number of innovative and delicate gestures. Armata can be used in a wide range of sizes. Typeface was started in 2009 as a student project in Sign and typography Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland). In 2012 the regular weight was published by Google Web Fonts. Armata Pro in wider spectrum of cuts and weights will be available from Sorkin Type fondry.
