"Maps of Columbus", is a series of collectible maps that allow residents of the City of Columbus to have a sense of community and identity within their neighborhood. Each map highlights historical landmarks unique to that neighborhood. The back of each map contains an infographic about the history of that area. Each map can only be found in the neighborhood it represents, encouraging people to go to new parts of the city to explore what it has to offer. Each infographic is paired with an augmented reality animation that can be viewed by downloading the app Aurasma on a smart phone or tablet. The app allows still, physical images to become animated on a persons phone or tablet.
