Dublin Fringe Festival Re-Branding

The brief was to rebrand the Dublin Fringe Festival for the 2016 Festival. I came up with the simple tagline: 'I am Fringe' which references the inclusivity and the personality of the festival. The pigeon motif is an ironic nod to the alternative nature of the event - Fringe attracts those that tend to stand out from the crowd. In many instances of the branding, ohe pigeon is seen to face in a different direction and often in a different colour to otherwise identical pigeons.

This was created from a lino cutting I created of a pigeon head. It was then cleaned up using Adobe Illustrator.

THIS IS A STAMP SET THAT IS SENT AS DIRECT MAIL TO LOYAL DUBLIN FRINGE FESTIVAL PATRONS. THE RECIPIENT CUTS THEIR OWN NAME FROM THE LINO CREATING A STAMP. THEY THEN STAMP THEIR NAME ON THE PAPER WITHIN THE FRAME CREATING AN IMAGE THAT SAYS, FOR EXAMPLE, "JOHN IS FRINGE."
STAMP SET CONTAINS: 1 X STAMP PAD, 1 X LINO PIECE, 1 X STAMP BLOCK, 1 X FRAMED SHEET, 1 X LINO CUTTING TOOL.
