Laser Pasta: A Fearless Taxi Studio Competition Brief.
When first introduced to the competition brief we were also quite fortunate for Taxi Studio to travel down, discuss the first initial stages of the project, and listen to the ideas that we had lingering around. They discussed the opportunities of the 'activation' of a brand, not just look at it as a business card at the end of the day, perhaps that business card is a billboard, or even better, a fast moving consumer product (FMCP).

So there were 2 tasks at hand, produce a brand for myself and then sell it as something that would sit nicely next to my chosen ready meal of the week, baring in my mind, I was a student then. It really does get you thinking of 'Who the hell do you think you are?', it's quite daunting at first, but you've got to get on with it.

During my time in University, I told myself I wish I used the lasercutter a lot more, and I kind of got my own way when I couldn't stop thinking about laser cutting lasagne sheets and etching my name into them. It smelt really REALLY bad, and as you can imagine, tasted awful.

I hope you enjoy Laser Pasta, hopefully not coming to a store near you.
