OVERVIEW
The Trail is a fitness/leisure trail that stretches across 20 miles of countryside, linking two cities together. There are many stops along the trail, including parking areas, small towns, and rest areas.
BRIEF
The parameters of the project were to design a broad identity for the trail; one that could be carried over into further design such as wayfinding, promotional materials, etc.
SOLUTION
Through research and reasoning, I developed a concept for the trail. The trail lies in an area full of nature, it is away from the city. Therefore, the identity should respect nature and the environment of the trail. The executed solution does this by bringing elements of the environment into the design to bridge the gap between the two entities while still providing contrast and a unique visual.
