This video was my first ambitious attempt at animation. The monologue is a spoken-word piece originally written and performed by the band, Worth Dying For. This was my final project for a Multimedia & DVD Production class.
I first started this project with the vision of creating a visual representation of the words and concepts presented in the spoken word. I sketched a storyboard and put together a few shot sheets before I did any animating. Secondly, I recorded the music (a friend of mine very graciously played the instruments this time around) and the vocals. Once this was completed, I began working in Adobe After Effects - of which this project was created in its entirety.
