Project:  Eye to Eye
 
I2i Events run some of the world’s most prestigious b2b exhibitions, including the Spring and Autumn Fairs, BETT Show and the World Retail Congress. To support their strategy of unifying their offline and online marketing they asked us to create a range of content and sales tools to support marketing to potential exhibitors and visitors.
 
As part of this toolkit we wrote, designed and produced an animation to demonstrate the importance of face-to-face communication via live events. It tells the story of entrepreneur James and his changing fortunes with his favourite customer Jane. 
 
I created storyboards for the animation and developed all the characters and assets to appear in the film. Then using Photoshop’s animation timeline, I created a series of short clips which we cut together in Final Cut Pro, adding subtitles, voiceover and backing track before rendering out various formats for the client’s marketing requirements.
