WWF MARINE MAMMALS MEDITERRANEAN (COMPILATION)
Top Cut produced a documentary for the non-governmental environmental organization WWF Hellas. The 30 minute documentary describes the Marine Mammals that dwell in the Mediterranean and particularly in the Aegean sea. The footage of these extraordinary creatures is extremely rare and although WWF provided footage from their research it was insufficient and could not tell the whole story as needed to be told.
PopUp created a 15 minute motion graphics depiction of the origins of life on earth, the evolution process, the dangers these species are facing & the solutions that are suggested in order to protect them. The idea was to use still hi resolution images and slow motion footage details placed inside a 3D environment with the camera moving from one another, traveling inside this surrealistic world. The impression that we needed to give was that of a still moment in time where the viewer may observe this serious matter.
