These illustrations are the result of watching the movie "V for Vendetta" for academic drawing class with Professor Diana Costa - ESAD 2007/2008. This film portrays a character called V, a charismatic advocate of freedom that lives in a desperate quest for revenge and revolution. In the plot of the story we also find
numerous references to current problematic situations: from pedophilia to totalitarianism.
Here I discovered my comfort zone where the use of cutting and stitching of images and words take on a new meaning, and at the same time it gives space for the viewer to reflect on the message. I like to marry elements that together create new narratives, but without being immediately understandable. Although these results
were born with reference to the film it does not prevent the same ideals to be suitable for other problems.
