After discovering my love for beading and jewelry making when I was in middle school, I expanded my skill set and began a bead collection. My findings come from all over -- Chicago, South Africa and Washington, D.C., to name a few -- as well as from local shops near my homes in Charlotte and Raleigh. I often make jewelry as gifts for friends or for myself.
Having always loved the unique colors found in Czech glass beads, I decided to open an Etsy shop in April 2012 to market this hobby. I pride myself on matching unexpected colors of beads. I use mostly silver- and gold-plated ear wires with the Czech glass beads, sometimes pairing them with stones or crystals for different color combinations. I do accept custom orders. (The model is my dear friend and landscape architect Katie Hamilton.)
