Surviving Tourism
Etiquette Guide
Etiquette Guide
Surviving Tourism was the title of my senior final project. Americans have always been seen as a traveling country. However, unless born in another country, Americans don't know how to act in different countries. My goal for this project was to raise awareness about what to do in the top ten visited countries by Americans. Many of the travelers often come off as tourist almost immediately, which triggers a different reactions from the natives.
The main part of this project is the book, which is 86 pages in total, tells the top 10 visited countries, as well as 10 very important rules to follow within each of them. The second piece of the project is the pocket guide booklet. It contains a business card for each of the countries with summed up facts from the book. Seeing as though postcards are often associated with traveling, I created various postcards for each country, each telling of facts for that country.
