Definitely one of my favorite design jobs. I'm not the biggest sports fan, but I do happen to love hockey. That's why I was all over this opportunity. The client loved my design, which was great! Even better though, was the thought of thousands of fans holding my design in their hands as they eagerly approached the arena for each and every action-packed, bone-crushing, puck-flying game. My favorite Thrashers game moment? During the game, I watched a puck come flying right over the glass and head straight for my date's face. Without thinking, I jumped up and swatted it away, just in time to prevent it from hitting her. Yes, without thinking. If I were thinking. I would have either caught it or quickly scrambled to the ground to retrieve it. Instead, I opted for making sure my date was okay. What can I say? I'm a gentleman.
