Tracy tasked me with designing her logo. She was a joy to work for, as she had a very clear vision of what it was that she wanted. She sent me a sample of a blue color she really loved. Wonderful! This is a small detail that can really hold things up for a lot of people, and with good reason. Color is so subjective, yet communicates so much. She wanted a font that was clean, simple, modern and professional looking. In the beginning, she thought an icon of some sort would be nice. In the end, she changed her mind. Just clean, simple typography. You can't go wrong with that. Just ask GAP, Pottery Barn, or Williams Sonoma.
