Holiday Poster Design
Just another fun poster design I did for JWT's holiday party.

Whenever I think of the inevitable White Elephant game, I think hideous, tacky, yet strangely interesting ceramic gods of visual eye candy. Hence, the inspiration for my poster. Although, I kind of like the little elephant guy front and center at the top. Oh, and I didn't just participate by executing a nice poster design to advertise the events yet to come. Oh no.

First, I participated in our annual tour of cubes – a competition to see who had the sand to decorate their cube like nobody's business. I did a Cajun Christmas cubicle, complete with beads, Cajun Christmas music blaring and beignets (made from scratch, of course). Hey, what can I say? When I take on, well, pretty much anything, I kind of like to dive in and completely immerse myself. Anyway, I tied for 2nd place, so my efforts paid off.

Next, I played in the White Elephant game, while adorning my ugly sweater. I didn't win the ugly sweater contest, but I did take home a rare and precious white elephant gem:  a container of body butter. Finally, my life was complete... and I had arrived. I was somebody.

Oh, and finally, the holiday party. Yes, I was there. I kind of remember. But I'm pretty sure anybody else you could ask would remember me being there for sure. Why is that you ask? I have 2 words. Dance off. That's right. I started a dance off in the style of 80's break dancing, sans parachute pants. Oh yeah! I pulled out moves I don't think anybody has seen before. Hopefully, nobody ever will again.

Well, it was a great time, nonetheless. Now, I will always have this poster to remind of all that is good:  break dancing, Cajun Christmases, Body Butter, ceramic elephants and ugly sweaters. Here's to the good times we've had and the ones yet to come.
