Steinway+Lyngdorf Jewelry
For over 150 years Steinway & Sons pianos have been handmade by excellent craftsman, and are the choice pianos of nearly all concert pianists globally. In 2007, Steinway collaborated with Danish audio designer, Peter 'Lyngdorf,' to create a luxurious collection of sound systems. The language the two created with their collaboration was one of legacy and luxury from Steinway, as well top of the line sound quality and sleek aesthetics from Lyngdorf.
My goal was to design a piece of jewelry which followed that same language Steinway and Lyngdorf created. The materials in my design are carved bars of black onyx, a single diamond, and 24karat gold.
