Spindle is a table lamp centred around a vacuum formed lamp shade that is married with an elegant wooden handle and stand. The project focused on understanding the vacuum forming process and deriving a finished product from this process.
One of the design objectives was to try and create a form that was seamless and had a sense of assymmetry that would not directly relate visually to a vacuum formed part.
