After working in publishing for a few years, I became a full-time freelance writer in the summer of 2015. I created this brand identity for myself as a business, and a new portfolio website which I built while taking a web development course at HackerYou in Toronto. It took me another year and a half to realize that I spent way more time and energy on designing my logo and website than I did on my writing assignments, and that perhaps journalism wasn't my true calling.
