HERE acknowledges the birthplace of ideas across many creative elds. It seeks to ensure that the provenence or history of these creative contributions will not be lost.
HERE seeks to provide the passer-by with a sense of where ideas have been born and cultivated. These areas include houses, cafés, bus stops – pretty much any public space that may have been the starting point for ideas. The ideas include where authors have penned their books, theatre playwrights had observed characters, painters and sculptors have captured scenes, signi cant designers have had their creative in uence etc.
When I think about the word ʻHEREʼ, it always make me feel that someone or something is calling me, waving his hand to attract my attention. Then the image of flapping flags come into my mind. I think flag is a very appropriate symbol the express the concept of “HERE”. Besides; it is very functional and economy that using flags as place markers, because the flags is a good medium to display messages, and flags are very cheap as well as suitable for different environments. It is also quite common to see the flag as a symbol of location marker in some map applications. So I choose flag as the symbol to connect my identity, place marker and application.

Finally, I choosed the most basic and common flag style, and I used the minimal shape the flapping flag. Sorting the different creation category with different colors and typefaces, which try to represent the characters of different creations.
- IDENTITIES -
Place Marker is the flags which using the same visual system of the identity, but adding more information on it, like the name of the location, inspired creation and creator, people can easily connect the place marker with the identity.
- PLACE MARKER -

This is also a part of the Place Marker, it is painted near the flags, it works as people see the flags from a long distant while walking near to the flags, then they will find the spray painting on somewhere near the flag. They could have a brief information about the story, and the text will guide people to download the ʻHEREʼ application if they want to know more about the project.
The online map would be designed to be usable for visitors, tourists as well as locals. Allowing people to tour the areas and see where ideas had begun. I use application as my Online Marker, because I think mobile phone is the most common device for people. Application is more convenient and interactive compared with other form of maps.

Users can roughly check the location on the electronic map, and the general situation of the nearby sites (same category). The most important function is people can check the detailed information about the site, creator and creation, so they can know the entire story before they start to leave.
