Cadi Froehlich's profile

Creative packaging

This is a proposal for an artist's publication for an upcoming exhibition. Three artists will be showing work, so the packaging is to represent elements of each of their work.
Martin Herron makes prints featuring deserted caravans and trailers (Aluminum)
Darren Nisbett makes sculptures from distorted scrap steel.
Cadi Froehlich makes sculptures from salvaged copper.
I wanted to include a sample of the metals in the publication to allow visitors to engage with the work in a tactile way. This sample is presented in the creative packaging design.
The front cover is de-bossed with a design inspired by the architecture of the space hosting the exhibition.
The binding uses cable ties, which again reference Cadi's work.
The palette is kept simply to the neutral tones of the metals and card, with highlights picked out in blue.
