The movie “Harlock” is a fully rendered CG movie. The amount of work gone into the movie still astounds me every time I watch it. So for the project I re-made the original cover because it did not feel fit enough to embody the grandeur and beautiful appeal of the film. I featured the full main cast by layer masking them in carefully, added HDR and multiple layers of effects to the originally low-rez picture of the ship and pulled the final work off with a high pass effect. The type if very futuristic and match the technology in the movie. I kept the DVD simple to add to the main characters sense of mystery.
