Color and texture samples in different materials for a sportswear mini-collection inspired by the sensation of awe while being under water.
The textures and materials/material combinations mimics the tactile perceptions of liquid touching bare skin; a soothing, cool and silky sensation. This feeling is contrasted with smaller details resembling a wet, a bit clammy, skin. The colors and other visual elements in the collection visualizes the illusions waves create; how the waters surface, your own body, reflections of light, the bottom of the sea, lake or pool all blends into a mesmerizing sight.
This project is done in collaboration with Suvi Järvelin, but below is shown only samples done by me.
