The existing house is listed and in Ai Architects design is proposed as mostly the public area of the project, except for part of the back end. The study is located at the back where the morning sun rises and a private staircase leads to the upstairs private library/void to below & walk-in wardrobe (all of which is located within the boundaries of the existing house). The en-suite master bathroom with private garden style baclony is part of the new addition that links to the master bedroom. On the GF the living room that is part of the existing house connects to the new addition dining room that links to the kitchen. The existing building houses the living room, sitting room, guest WC, guest bedroom with en-suite and the study. The secondary entrance to the house is through the kitchen from the garage, that also leads to the secondary staircase (from the kitchen) to the upstairs bedroom1 and master bedroom.
