Some process work and drafts leading up to the final designs (shown above). I talked with the foundry director to get an idea of how he wanted the event to be presented. His most important point was that the graphics should incorporate iron pouring equipment. 

Bonus graphic: after the previous project was completed, the director asked if I could quickly mock up a simple (3-4 color) design for embroidered patches. He had a clear idea of what he wanted; a ladle pouring into a saw shape. After a few quick revisions, I sent the final file (below).
