A loose rendering commissioned by the architect for the purpose of demonstrating that the project fits the desires of the design review board. A previous developer intended to put a multi-story steel and glass office building in the middle of this pastoral site, and the community was having none of it.

Contemporary detailing is added to the design of this kennel, which draws on the vernacular of the barns and farmhouses once common in the area.

Footnotes:
a) The tower in the image is the famous WSM-AM broadcasting antenna - the originator of the world reknown Grand Ole Opry.
b) While often added to give whimsy to architectural renderings, hot-air balloons actually do fly in the vicinity of this site.
