RollDaBeats is a site based around a large database of music artists' discographies. The site holds information on well over 20,000 artists and 40,000+ releases. The community has over 6,000 members many of whom log in on a daily basis and use the site to catalogue their record collections and wishlists of music that they're after.
Lighthouse became involved with RDB when the site needed a redesign and rebrand. RDB holds a huge amount of information and suffered from poor navigation so we revisualised the content available taking advantage of the richness of information.
We developed a visual brand and improved usability while also adding extra funcitonality to allow the site's members to interact with the data.
We continue to work on the back end code, help with monetising the site and provide design for both the web pages but associated print work.
