Hinterland is a play loosely based around the Icelandic folklored people, the Huldufólk, or hidden people.
These people are elusive and live in rocks and forests, often causing unexplainable phenomena. 
 
Hinterland is performed at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in London, England.
