Molly Fehr's profile

Hinterland (Part 1: Costume)

Hinterland is a play loosely based around the Icelandic folklored people, the Huldufólk, or hidden people. These people are elusive and live in rocks and forests, often causing unexplainable phenomena.

The costume design is the court dress of Princess Tember, the lead character. The cape, headdress, and bracelet are made out of papier-mache, magic sculp, acrylic paint, fabric, silk leaves, gold spray paint, beads, raffia, trimming, thread, ribbon, and wire.

Check out my other project on my page detailing the set and ticket design of this play!
