Normal body temperature is 36.5° C. This project, 36.5+, uses physical contact, such as holding hands, hugging, or touching each other, as a method of input to enhance physical intimacy. It can detect the presence or absence of physical contact between people, and we present an application and a performance video using 36.5+.

Breeze and Sound
When users touch each other, 36.5+ spins a fan and plays six random sounds. The breeze generated by the flower shaped fan represents the warmth of physical intimacy and the sound played increases the fun and pleasure of physical contact between people.

Are Social Networking Services Really Social Networking?
Social networking services connect people online and increase social intimacy. It is valuable, without doubt. However, it disrupts communication between people in real life because many people habitually use social networking services in front of friends or family. We convey this message with a small performance using 36.5+.
