This body of work describes the life of Roger Miller. My father, he fought for civil rights in the 1960's in Mississippi while living in the freedom house, was one of the first interracial marriages to an African American in the 60's and was a part of the first group for Habitat for Humanity in Africa. He would tell me stories of his youth since I was a little girl and these three major parts are depicted in this long life journey illustration. I am so proud to be his daughter.
