Poster Design concept for Brooklyn Book Festival. This poster was inspired by the idea of the dimensionality found in the physical pages of a book. With this in mind, I approached the design of the poster by layering words related to the festival and created an original texture which can also be seen as the silhouette of a city. The center of the poster is the scan of physical paper to reference the tangible nature of books. I also used a font that emulates some of the first computerized typefaces to embrace the digital nature of reading books today.
