This project aims to explore silicone rubberand related processes. By conducting research on the characteristics of thisrubber-like material such as stickiness, stretchiness, and softness, I intendto develop new applications of this material in furniture design, Also, tocontinue my work from last quarter, I intend to continue the experiments on howother materials interact with and combine with silicone rubber. The strongmimic ability is also what I am interested in since the silicone rubber can capturethe very fine details of the model texture during the process of casting.Fabric and other found object that have interesting texture will be tried andtested.
