    For the last year or so I've been working exclusively on Virtual Reality user interfaces. This is the menu design and animation work I did for The Climb, which is an Oculus Rift VR title. Pascal Eggert (our awesome art director) helped out with the visual style and texture work. Read Less

For the last year or so I've been working exclusively on Virtual Reality user interfaces. This is the menu design and animation work I did for The Climb, which is an Oculus Rift VR title.
Customization
 
Here the players can customize their character's gloves, wristbands, watches and skin tone.
Achievements
 
When the player unlocks new achievements, they also unlock one of the puzzle pieces of the group, which is on the back side of the box. Also each achievement comes with its own unique reward, which you collect from the box.
Workflow
 
Most of the UI is modeled and animated in 3DsMax, then exported to our engine and placed into the scene. Textures are rendered and animated using Scaleform, which are created in Flash. Most of the in-engine logic is done using FlowGraph, which is our node based visual scripting editor.
