This boot combines the structural potential of digital embroidery with its primary (decorative) function. Rather thanapplying embroidery uniformly over the entire shoe, I chose to embroider selectively on this shoe where the leather alone didn't provide enoughstructure. Additionally, I chose to experiment with training vegetable tanned leather for the gusset instead of using synthetic elastic to minimize non-biodegradeable material waste.
