UFBB - rebranding & scenography

Project was about helping a small event called UFBB - ULTIMATE FLASHBACK BATTLES - a contest in bboying (breakdancing). Event was held in Zagreb (Croatia), in Pogon Jedinstvo. It was organized by non-profit and non-governmental-organization Savršen krug, dedicated to helping children which would otherwise be "raised on the streets" to find themselves in a creative work with music, dancing and the performing arts.

This was the 6th year.

First thing done was to refresh the old logo. Idea with the logo was to create a modular logo, elements of which could serve as separate visual bits.Form itself is basically a simplified version of old logo. I used some softer typfaces.

Proposals for event t-shirts, exploirng the idea of logo modularity. Organizators eventualy decided to go with the one marked with +. Talking about modularity :D.

The scenography was made of a bunch of polygons with the main visual of the event at the top of it. Material used was corrugated cardboard. There was a very limited amount of time to assemble and mount the scenography, so i had to design it with simplicity in mind. Model pakiranja sponsored the event with material, and gave us acces to their CNC router wich was used for production. Many thanks to Model :) !
