Eva Solo's Gravity Line project. School project at Digital Concept Development, KEA Copenhagen.
 
Gravity by Eva Solo is a quite recent line of products. The client aim was to define and put in motion a communication strategy which will boost general awareness about the products, so consumers could easily recognize and understand what Gravity series is about. The strategy was meant to be suitable for Denmark, Sweden and Norway, where the solution should be launched somewhere before Christmas 2015, and working for about 8-10 weeks. Moreover, Eva Solo aimed for a solution which will turn viral.
The survey made on 500 costumers and 10 interviews conducted during the project, showed that they frequently use different social media channels, with Facebook and Instagram being the most preferred. The data gathered was for the Scandinavian market - Denmark, Sweden, Norway.

A conclusion made from the analysis phase, is that the target group of Eva Solo, treasures design that helps them to express their personality. Therefore the suggested solution, is a concept where the consumers are allowed to express their personality through design and creativeness.

The proposal was a Social Media photo competition (Facebook & Instagram). Every participant was supposed to enter the competition page on Facebook, ‘Like’ the post as well as the Eva Solo page (if not currently doing that), fill some of the basic data (name, e-mail) and upload the contest photo. The uploaded photo was supposed to show a spot/place in the kitchen where the new Gravity line pot could be and show that the person is really missing it in the kitchen.
The photo should be as creative as possible. The process meant to make people want to show their creativeness and their eye for design.

The participants share the photo on the wall. That is also meant to attract attention of other potential participants. The competition can also be entered via Instagram. People have to upload relevant photo on their profile, use competition hashtag #spaceforgravity, share the photos and try to gain as many likes as they can. Hashtag is connected with Facebook platform and participant photo will automatically appear on the main competition page too.
