RTS (PTC) is the public broadcaster in Serbia. RTS+ is an on demand channel package created for an IPTV platform by Serbia's biggest telecommunication company (MTS). The concept was inspired by modern communication itself, embedded in punctuation symbols and the system of emoticons.
RTS+ package logos:
RTS 24/7 (news), RTS, (drama), RTS: (music), RTS* (lifestyle), RTS { } (tv archive) and RTS# (ethno)
The punctuation symbols are used as an integral part of the logos, making a meaningful relation with the cyrillic letters and the channels' profile.
The slash ( / ) is used for the 24h news service channel, the comma ( , ) is used for the drama channel, the colon ( : ) for the music channel, the asterisk ( * ) for the lifestyle channel, the brackets ( { } ) for the old tv archive channel, and finally, the hashtag ( # ) for the national culture (ethno) channel.
