Metro Detroit
Designed for the Somerset Collection's Detroit Shoppe poster contest sponsored through the College for Creative Studies. The theme for the project was "What Moves You?" Growing up in the Detroit area, we all claim to be "from Detroit," when in reality, the majority of those who say that are really from the suburbs. One of the unique things about Detroit is that our main roads meet at the very center of Detroit before spreading out to the suburbs, stretching in to three different counties outside of Wayne.
Originally designed in Illustrator, 10 of these posters were printed using experimental processes before being brought back in to Photoshop to add logos. It was displayed at the Somerset Collection in June 2011.
