Child abuse is a sensitive topic that even adults find hard to talk about. Now imagine a child, that lost all the trust with adults due to abuse, trying to speak out. It is extremely difficult, therefore I created a campaign "Take a closer look" to raise awareness to the issue of child abuse and the fact that only one third of it gets to be reported. As well as to inform people of how challenging it is for a child to speak out about abuse, most of them hide behind a smile.
The campaign poster would be positioned in convenient, busy places to attract people’s attention from a far. From a distance people would see an illustrative portrait of a smiling child, however upon closer inspection it is revealed how much pain is hidden away behind that smile
