Since December 2009 I've been based out of Reykjavík, Iceland. During that time I've been very active in attending shows and have been photographically documenting the live music scene.
If "writing about music is like dancing about architecture," photographing it is probably all the more absurd. Nonetheless, with my photographs I've been making an earnest attempt to capture the atmosphere and energy of the music around me. A visual analogy to sound.
