We needed to create interesting city images to highlight the vexing attitudes that block overdue conversation between Capital Hill and Main Street.
First with levels and curves, I desaturated the color and bumped up the black in the images. Then with with Trapcode Form, they were reduced to the to .5 pixel width dots. Finally, duplicated and slightly offset. The alpha channel allowed a very warm distortion. With a slow, slight slide a very nice, "crumbling instiutions" feeling is produced.
