Lucky /Laki/ (Лъки) is a small Bulgarian town in the Rhodopi Mountains, artificially created as a mining colony. While local tourism is on the rise, the town has experienced a major population decline, from 10k in the 80’s to just 2k today. Living conditions are rather harsh in Lucky; two working mines and one clothing factory support the livelihood of its people.
